Resilience Recovery Resources offers outpatient care for teens facing addiction to Xanax (alprazolam) and other benzos, as well as underlying co-occurring mental health conditions. Our best teen Xanax rehab provides benzodiazepine addiction treatment for teen boys and adolescents in Florida, blending evidence-based and age-specific care with family involvement and support groups for long-term wellness.
Resilience Recovery Resources offers comprehensive Xanax addiction treatment for teen boys navigating drug use as well as stress, underlying mental health and co-occurring disorders, trauma, and the unique life experiences that led to Xanax in the first place. Our commitment to clinical excellence, backed by professional, holistic support and a personalized approach to each program, ensures that teens can confront the impact of Xanax addiction from all angles. Each Xanax rehab program goes beyond surface-level symptoms to embrace new life skills and a community that supports a lasting, sustainable, and thriving drug-free future.
We offer teenage-specific programs to help you and your son find the best fit for healing. Our programs are divided into two distinct paths: an adolescent program catered toward young men aged 14 to 17, and a young adult program for ages 18 to 28. Your teen always has access to a community of peers and a program focused on the developmental needs and skills most pertinent to their goals. These programs also balance Xanax addiction treatment with academic support, career preparation, and transition support as they move between levels of care and reach new milestones throughout the journey.
We also work with both teens and families each step of the way, integrating families into the healing journey to enact change at home and empowering family members to become engaged, educated, and effective supports throughout the process. With weekly family therapy sessions and family weekends, family therapy can help families come together, set healthy boundaries with loved ones, improve communication, and process lingering feelings of resentment or blame that may impact the healing journey. These programs are also instrumental for challenging enabling behaviors and destigmatizing addiction at home for a unified and productive approach to home life.
Xanax addiction can be complicated, with many teens first receiving a legitimate prescription before use of the drug develops into misuse. While benzodiazepines like Xanax can be used to help treat anxiety disorders or panic disorder by creating a sedative effect, it can still be habit-forming. Misuse of Xanax outside of a prescription, using more than prescribed or for reasons not prescribed, or looking to street-level alternatives for benzodiazepines when prescriptions run out can lead to dangerous effects and outcomes.
Our dedicated treatment programs address not just the symptoms of Xanax addiction, but also the underlying factors, including co-occurring disorders like anxiety and panic disorder. With a background in clinical excellence and personalized case management, our unique blend of evidence-based therapy, holistic healing opportunities, and individual and group therapy addresses these needs in tandem for a truly effective and transformative approach to healing.
For nearly a decade, Resilience Recovery has supported adolescent and young adult males through developmentally informed, family-centered care. Our transitional model emphasizes clinical excellence, accountability, and the life skills needed for sustainable recovery and independence.
Programming is thoughtfully designed around the developmental needs of young men ages 14–28. Separate tracks ensure care remains age-appropriate, clinically relevant, and aligned with each stage of growth.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based care grounded in relational and attachment-focused principles, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). Treatment prioritizes emotional healing while building practical skills for long-term stability.
Low client-to-staff ratios allow for individualized support, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and consistent clinical oversight. Each client is known, supported, and actively guided throughout their recovery process.
Care is trauma-informed and developmentally responsive, addressing the underlying experiences that often contribute to substance use. We support the whole person — emotionally, socially, academically, and vocationally.
Families remain closely involved through weekly therapy, regular updates, and dedicated care coordination. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and supports lasting change beyond the program.
FARR-accredited residences provide a safe, structured setting that reinforces accountability while promoting independence. Each home is intentionally designed to reflect real-world living, helping clients practice the skills necessary for a successful transition forward.
Understanding the benefits and features of our teen Xanax addiction treatment program is crucial to beginning the healing journey with confidence. We work alongside your son to commit to change while making the most of each person’s healing efforts. There is no single path to change, and we combine multiple approaches and strategies for holistic, transformative care for teens.
Each teen will work one-on-one with an experienced clinician, focusing on their unique needs, goals, experiences, and skills to carve their own path forward. This includes evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and our NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which provide a proven foundation for effective behavioral health treatment.
We also combine individual therapy with group therapy opportunities, helping teens come together in solidarity to explore practical strategies and coping skills, build new relationships, and receive sympathetic, compassionate peer support while integrating into our healing culture and community. Our dedication to peer support also includes 12-Step integration and experiential therapies to explore new experiences, perspectives, and ideas in a safe and curated environment.
We celebrate the opportunity to incorporate the family through weekly family therapy sessions that empower parents to be educated and involved in their son’s healing. This approach focuses on exploring coping skills and strategies at home for teens and parents, improving communication and understanding, enacting effective relapse-prevention skills, establishing healthy boundaries, and creating an environment focused on support, understanding, and accountability rather than blame or resentment as parents grow and heal alongside their son.
We treat substance use disorder (SUD) alongside co-occurring needs and disorders to explore the impact of mental illness, stress, trauma, depression, and more on each teen’s relationship with addictive substances like Xanax. Addressing these challenges in tandem is necessary for effective change. We help teens address the full picture and understand how these forces inform and interact with each other, supporting the most effective and empowering approach to a drug-free life.
Our programs combine clinical excellence with medical supervision and education, ensuring safety for your teen while engaged in benzo rehab. From identifying and supporting teens through ongoing Xanax withdrawal symptoms, addressing co-occurring needs, and more, we create a safe and proactive environment that tends to each of your teen’s needs.
Knowing what to expect can help parents and teens take this first step toward healing with confidence, set goals and expectations, and navigate new hurdles. Our programs provide a solid foundation and routine, with morning meditation and chores before scheduled group sessions throughout the morning and early afternoon. Time is also scheduled for ongoing academics as we work with a dedicated Florida special education teacher to maintain academic involvement and success while teens navigate recovery.
Teens are also supported through supervised meal prep, working together to create a healthy diet while building new skills and responsibilities in recovery, all before attending off-site 12-Step meetings. Your teen should never have to choose between healing, academics, or professional ambitions. Our outpatient support, intensive outpatient program (IOP), and partial hospitalization program (PHP) all offer opportunities for teens to pursue personal goals in rehab while staying engaged in effective treatment.
While our teen programming is designed to address the developmental needs and challenges of teenagers, it is best for those who have completed a medical detox or inpatient rehab program and are continuing to build on new skills and strategies for a lasting sober life. If your teen is in need of medical detox or residential treatment services, we can provide referrals and coordinate with you and local treatment facilities to find the best fit before transitioning to care with us.
Our comprehensive substance abuse treatment programs empower teens to confront not just the use of Xanax and other benzodiazepines like lorazepam and diazepam, but also to address emotional regulation while addressing underlying anxiety, panic attacks, and emotional dysregulation. Each individualized program includes personal case management to address the intersection of personal needs and behaviors in dual diagnosis treatment, all while providing age-specific teen care and navigating developmental and transitional challenges and the stresses that teens face each day.

Resilience Recovery Resources uses a level system that empowers teens to embrace new, practical skills, life skills, and responsibility while navigating our levels of care. This ensures your teen always receives the care most pertinent to their needs in rehab. With regular assessments to advance levels and personalized care to develop specific skills, we can support your teen’s entire treatment and recovery journey, from their first step through our doors to reaching new levels of responsibility, accountability, and agency in healing.
Our most intensive level of care, PHP, is divided into two paths: one for adolescents aged 14 to 17, and one for young adults aged 18 to 28. These programs include 25 hours of group therapy per week and incorporate family involvement, individual therapy, academic and life skills support, and medical oversight. Our PHP is located in West Palm Beach, creating a culture that supports teens while building new skills.
A step down from our PHP, our IOP includes 9 to 15 hours of group therapy per week as teens take on more responsibilities and freedoms while staying connected to our supportive community. These programs continue to help teens build a new life both inside and outside our walls, with weekly individual therapy and family therapy sessions, life skills support, and the ability to balance academics with ongoing healing.
Our least intensive level of care, our outpatient program (OP), consists of about 6 hours a week of dedicated programming and is best for teens who have completed a higher level of care and are continuing to successfully integrate new skills, coping strategies, and build on a sober life at home. This option is also great for teens who have an engaged and educated family support system at home that continues to support change.
Our programs go beyond surface-level symptoms, providing additional care, amenities, and support for teens navigating not just addiction, but the stresses and complexities of daily life. Your teen never has to choose between their healing and academics or personal goals, and we offer an array of options for additional care to empower your son to continue working toward personal goals while overcoming Xanax addiction.
We work closely with a Florida-certified special education teacher at a nearby satellite location to help teens continue to tend to academic responsibilities through virtual sessions. This helps keep your son engaged in their academic career while receiving treatment for Xanax addiction.
We work closely with teens and their families to develop effective relapse prevention strategies. From education and mindfulness to empowering supports to make changes at home, identify stresses and triggers, and continue to develop new skills, we are committed to your son’s long-term wellness, not just short-term solutions.
We continue to support your teen’s wellness even after graduating from one of our outpatient programs, with regular alumni options and structured home visits to keep teens and families feeling like an integrated and supported member of the healing community across Florida.
