Resilience Recovery Resources provides substance abuse treatment and mental health treatment in Florida for adolescent and young adult males. Our personalized treatment program and behavioral health services are combined with compassionate care across the entire continuum of care, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services, outpatient treatment, and aftercare. Each of these programs focuses on treating more than surface-level symptoms, promoting genuine, transformative care and wellness.
Resilience – the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
If your son is struggling with substance use, mental health issues, or both, you may feel overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of where to turn. At Resilience Recovery Resources, we specialize in helping adolescent and young adult males (ages 14–28) regain control, rebuild confidence, and rediscover a sense of purpose. This journey isn’t just about recovery- it’s about giving young men the tools to live a meaningful life, and giving families the support they need along the way.
Resilience Recovery Resources provides a variety of treatment options for adolescent and young adult males looking for an effective and specialized approach to overcoming addiction, mental health disorders, or dual diagnosis. Our treatment facility blends proven, evidence-based therapies with clinical excellence, with services focused not just on treating the effects of these challenges on the individual, but exploring treatment for the entire family.
With an inviting atmosphere, one-on-one care, and practical experience from trained professionals who have lived through the challenges of addiction and recovery themselves, we provide effective and practical addiction and mental health services that help clients explore their relationship with drugs or alcohol while embracing transformative opportunities in Florida.
Our programs provide healing and comprehensive care for each client’s entire well-being, as well as the well-being of loved ones, through family-centered care. Our dedicated adolescent program is designed for young adolescent males between 14 and 17 years old, providing dedicated support for overcoming addiction, mental illness, or other behavioral health care needs. This program includes partial hospitalization programs as well as residential transitional care.
Our adolescent program focuses not just on mental health care and addiction, but also on the unique stresses that affect adolescent men today, developing practical strategies while balancing school and other needs. Additionally, these programs include life skills, with a trained professional assigned to each individual to develop new skills through mock interviews on navigating difficult questions and maintaining a job, overcoming legal issues, budgeting, and resume-building.
Our young adult addiction and mental health program is designed for men 18-28, and starts later in the day to accommodate work obligations. These programs are designed to empower young men to explore their needs and goals for healing while still tending to professional responsibilities. Each program includes opportunities to work on practical skills, coping strategies, and personal needs to balance sobriety, healing from mental health concerns, and other stresses in daily life.
There are also many options available for these programs, from partial hospitalization programs to intensive outpatient care and general outpatient services, so young men can access the most appropriate level of care for their needs or transition between services and levels of care as they reach new milestones.
Both programs offer clinical opportunities, individual and group sessions, experiential care, and practical life skills, blending proven care with real-world experience. We also champion the role of community in each healing journey, helping young men connect not only to their family and supports at home but also to new relationships within the program. By working with peers to explore personal needs and goals and to overcome challenges, participants help create a culture of healing at every stage of recovery.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment.
Every young man is unique—so we build a plan around his specific needs, strengths, and goals.
We believe that lasting change includes the whole family. That’s why we provide resources and support for parents and loved ones throughout the recovery process. From regular updates to family therapy and education, you’ll be empowered to support your son with clarity and confidence.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Our team is here to guide you and your son through each step of the recovery journey with care, compassion, and clinical excellence. Healing starts with a conversation.
Common questions from parents seeking addiction treatment for their adolescent or young adult son in West Palm Beach.
Warning signs include declining grades, isolation from family and friends, mood swings, lying about whereabouts, finding substances or paraphernalia, and continued use despite consequences. If your son's substance use is affecting school, relationships, or daily functioning, professional help is recommended.
Our clinical team provides confidential assessments to help determine if your son needs treatment and what level of care would be most appropriate.
Yes, we offer two specialized tracks: our adolescent track for ages 14-17 and our young adult track for ages 18-28. Your son will participate in group therapy and activities with peers in his age-appropriate track.
If your son is turning 18 soon, we commonly help families transition from our adolescent track to our young adult program to ensure continuity of care and age-appropriate peer support throughout his recovery journey.
Resistance to treatment is common among teens and young adults. Our admissions team can provide guidance on motivational techniques and help you navigate this challenging situation. We also offer family consultation to develop strategies for encouraging your son to engage in treatment.
Many young men who initially resist treatment become actively engaged once they experience the supportive, non-judgmental environment we provide.
Absolutely. Family involvement is crucial for successful recovery. We offer regular family therapy sessions, parent education groups, and communication coaching to help rebuild trust and healthy family dynamics.
While we respect your son's privacy and autonomy, we encourage family participation and will work with you to determine the appropriate level of involvement based on his age and treatment goals.
Our outpatient programs are designed to work around school schedules. IOP sessions are typically held after school hours or in the evening. We can also coordinate with your son's school to ensure he doesn't fall behind academically.
Many students find that addressing their substance use issues actually improves their academic performance and school engagement.
We specialize in treating co-occurring disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD alongside substance use disorders. Our integrated approach addresses both conditions simultaneously for better treatment outcomes.
Many adolescents and young adults struggle with both addiction and mental health challenges, and treating them together is essential for lasting recovery.
Treatment length varies based on your son's individual needs and progress. Most young men benefit from 60-90 days in our IOP program, though some may need longer. We regularly assess progress and adjust the treatment plan accordingly.
Recovery is a process, and we're committed to providing ongoing support as long as your son needs it to maintain his sobriety and continue growing.
Our team will work directly with your insurance provider to maximize your benefits and explain any out-of-pocket costs.
We offer sober living specifically designed for young adult males, providing a structured, supportive environment with house rules, curfews, and regular drug testing. This is ideal for young men who need additional structure during early recovery.
Transportation arrangements can often be coordinated, and our sober living residents receive additional support transitioning back to independent living while maintaining their recovery.
Our admissions specialists understand what you're going through and can help you determine the next steps for your son's recovery.
