Resilience Recovery Resources offers outpatient care for young men facing substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our drug rehab for young adults in Florida focuses on substance use treatment via evidence-based methods, family involvement, support groups, and aftercare plans that support lasting change, not just short-term solutions.
Resilience Recovery Resources offers comprehensive drug treatment programs for young adult men in Florida, providing a combination of personalized support and evidence-based care that addresses the impact of substance use disorder (SUD), as well as the underlying factors and co-occurring disorders that create each unique situation.
Our dedicated young adult program is designed to address the needs of men aged 18 to 28, highlighting empowerment and community while combining rehab with practical life skills and transitional support as young adults move through levels of care, from our partial hospitalization programs (PHP) to intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient care, and successful aftercare.
Each situation is different, and we work with you and your family to build a personalized treatment plan from the ground up. Clinical excellence, backed by individual case management, individual and group therapy, trauma-informed care, and care for underlying co-occurring disorders, ensures our care goes beyond surface-level symptoms to embrace transformative change. Our team also blends young adult drug addiction treatment programs with dedicated support for developing identity, transitioning into the workplace, and building independence and agency to empower a sustainable, healthy, thriving drug-free life.
Each young adult rehab program incorporates family change, integrating families into the healing journey so they become engaged, educated, and effective supports. Families can learn to set healthy boundaries alongside loved ones, improve communication, challenge enabling behaviors, and navigate personal needs and challenges like resentment or blame that may impact the healing journey.
Resilience Recovery’s dedicated young adult treatment center, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, is designed for peers and our multidisciplinary team to come together to explore change and share stories and real-world experiences. We focus on comprehensive wellness and community that breaks down stigmas and empowers newfound agency in sobriety. With Master’s-level clinicians, a supportive environment for young adult men, as well as amenities like our outdoor pool and communal spaces, we provide a safe place to challenge the effects of addiction and underlying co-occurring disorders so young adults can confidently take their next step in healing.
For nearly a decade, Resilience Recovery has supported adolescent and young adult males through developmentally informed, family-centered care. Our transitional model emphasizes clinical excellence, accountability, and the life skills needed for sustainable recovery and independence.
Programming is thoughtfully designed around the developmental needs of young men ages 14–28. Separate tracks ensure care remains age-appropriate, clinically relevant, and aligned with each stage of growth.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based care grounded in relational and attachment-focused principles, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). Treatment prioritizes emotional healing while building practical skills for long-term stability.
Low client-to-staff ratios allow for individualized support, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and consistent clinical oversight. Each client is known, supported, and actively guided throughout their recovery process.
Care is trauma-informed and developmentally responsive, addressing the underlying experiences that often contribute to substance use. We support the whole person — emotionally, socially, academically, and vocationally.
Families remain closely involved through weekly therapy, regular updates, and dedicated care coordination. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and supports lasting change beyond the program.
FARR-accredited residences provide a safe, structured setting that reinforces accountability while promoting independence. Each home is intentionally designed to reflect real-world living, helping clients practice the skills necessary for a successful transition forward.
Young adult men face a unique blend of challenges, and our substance use treatment addresses the impact of drugs on daily life while confronting stigmas and the stress of navigating both personal and professional responsibilities. We take a comprehensive approach to treating each young man, understanding the personal journey of addiction and recovery, as well as the stresses that affect young men’s daily lives, to create a program that reflects every client’s needs and goals.
Young men will have opportunities to work one-on-one with an experienced clinician, focusing on their unique needs, goals, experiences, and skills to develop their path forward. This includes evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. Each therapeutic approach is grounded in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which creates a comprehensive foundation for effective behavioral health treatment.
We combine individual counseling with group therapy opportunities, helping young adults come together to explore practical strategies in daily life, build new relationships, and provide effective peer support. Group therapy also includes 12-Step integration for further communal support, as well as experiential therapies to explore new experiences, perspectives, and ideas in a safe and curated environment.
We incorporate weekly family therapy sessions, empowering parents and family members to be educated, active, and involved in a loved one’s healing. This approach focuses on exploring coping skills and strategies at home to improve communication and understanding, enact effective relapse-prevention skills, establish healthy boundaries, and create an environment focused on support, understanding, and accountability rather than blame or resentment.
Our substance abuse treatment program offers co-occurring substance use disorder treatment to explore the impact of mental illness, stress, trauma, and more on a young adult’s relationship with addictive substances. Addressing addiction and mental health needs in tandem is necessary for effective change. We provide care for each young man’s entire situation and help them understand how these forces inform and interact with each other, developing the most effective and empowering approach to transformative change.
Healing is a comprehensive process, and we go beyond the immediate challenges of addiction to explore new life skills and skills development that support the transition not just to a sober life, but to career development and personal goals. From new skills in managing cravings to practical daily strategies to manage time, energy, and balance ongoing healing with professional responsibilities and accountability, we are here to help young adult men reach new goals and milestones in every part of daily life.
Knowing what to expect can help young adult men approach professional treatment in Florida with confidence and a commitment to their own future. We focus on empowerment through skills development, transitional support, and personal agency, providing education and tools to help young adults take charge of their own healing and recovery. Our SUD programs help young adults develop real-world, practical strategies with the support of peers and professionals with lived experience navigating the challenges of addiction to create new coping strategies, routines, and more.
Programs start each morning with meditation and chores, followed by clinical group and therapy from 1:30 to about 7:30, with supervised meal prep and time for self-care and recreation to manage energy while putting in the hard work to confront addiction and its effects. Our young adult program starts a little later in the day, so clients can maintain employment and work morning hours before coming to treatment. We also address workplace stress and how it affects sobriety, helping young men develop effective coping skills.
Our West Palm Beach outpatient program can help young adults confront a variety of different substance dependencies, as well as their effects on daily life.
We provide treatment for:
We also have dedicated programs to help young adults address polysubstance use, or the use of multiple substances in tandem, such as alcohol use disorder alongside opioid use or marijuana. Combined with dedicated dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, support for emotional dysregulation, and support navigating the developmental and transitional challenges of young adults, we take a truly comprehensive approach that gets to the core of healing.

Healing is a process, but understanding the goals, milestones, and expectations can empower young adults and families to commit to healing from the very first step. Resilience Recovery Resources follows a level-based structure, with regular assessments to update treatment plans and make the most of each person’s time with us.
Each journey starts with an assessment that discusses your unique needs, experiences, goals, and challenges with drugs and underlying mental health needs and stress. This is a non-judgmental space used to help our expert clinicians learn about you and your journey.
Using this information, we put together a collection of strategies and a personalized therapy program, ensuring that care is tailored to the needs of each individual and their experiences, so they can make the most of their recovery efforts.
We offer a combination of evidence-based and holistic therapy sessions, with structured care, individual and group therapy, and age-appropriate care so young adults can address addiction and its effects from all angles and update treatment plans to address new challenges and stress.
Regular monitoring ensures we can update strategies while keeping each person safe, address personal needs, measure progress, and reach new milestones.
We are committed to long-term healing, supporting your journey not just during our PHP, IOP, or outpatient care, but continuing to work with you as you transition to new stages, advance to new levels in our system, and embrace new freedoms outside the facility. Ongoing transition and aftercare support keeps you engaged and connected to our healing community.
Finding the right level of care for young adults is an important step in the treatment process. We work with young adults to find the right level of care and provide regular monitoring and assessment to support the journey as they transition to new levels, embrace new freedoms and accountability, and continuously adjust each program to match changing needs, goals, and skills.
PHP is our most intensive level of care. This program is for young adults aged 18 to 28 and includes 25 hours of group therapy per week, alongside family involvement, individual therapy, academics and life skills support, and medical oversight. Located in West Palm Beach, our PHP creates a culture that supports young adults while building new skills.
A step down from our PHP, our IOP includes 9 to 15 hours of group therapy per week as young adults take on more responsibilities and freedoms while staying connected to our supportive community. These programs continue to help young men build a new life both inside and outside our walls, with weekly individual therapy and family therapy sessions, life skills support, and the ability to balance a job with ongoing healing.
Our least intensive level of care, our outpatient program (OP), consists of about 6 hours a week of dedicated programming and is best for young adult men who have completed a higher level of care and are building a sober life at home. This program can be especially beneficial for those who are balancing ongoing healing and a drug-free life with new career opportunities and life to prevent professional stresses from impacting decision-making, sobriety, and emotional wellness.
While addiction can feel isolating, entire families and communities are affected. However, our focus on empowerment and community ensures that nobody has to face addiction alone.
We work closely with local sober living options, including FARR-accredited sober living homes right next to our clinical office in Florida. Sober living helps provide transition support and programs that promote accountability, vocational and academic support, and 12-Step participation while navigating through our level system.
Nobody is alone in their healing journey, even after navigating new levels of freedom and treatment programs or reaching new milestones in healing. We continue to provide alumni support to help young men integrate new skills and lifestyles into their healing journey, all while staying connected to our healing community and culture in Florida.
We work closely with young adult men to prepare for a thriving career through mock interviews, resume building, and skills that translate to the workplace, while empowering each person to balance ongoing healing with work and professional development.
We work with individuals and families to provide robust relapse prevention planning, including coping skills to address new stresses, mindfulness techniques to recognize changes in wellness or stress, and education for family members to provide the best support possible to empower a lasting drug-free life.
Taking the first step can be the most challenging. However, knowing when to contact professional care to learn about healing options is crucial to help young adult men confront drug addiction early and build a thriving drug-free life.
Some of the signs of treatment need may include:
While early intervention is the best way to address the effects of addiction early and prevent more drastic effects, there is nobody who is ever beyond healing or sobriety. We are ready to work with you to find the right drug rehab program and approach to empower each person’s transformation to a drug-free life.
While we do not offer in-house medical detox or inpatient programs, we do work closely with trusted local options and provide referrals. We are also available to provide logistical and transitional support as you navigate each level of care, transitioning from these programs to day treatment with us to ensure there are no gaps in care.
Yes! We structure our days to allow young adults to continue working while engaging in effective drug rehab, while also exploring new skills and strategies that you can use to balance these aspects of your life.
We incorporate family therapy into each program to educate family members on addiction, become effective supports, and foster communication, trust, and forgiveness for entire families, facilitating change both inside our walls and at home.
