Resilience Recovery Resources offers outpatient care for young men with marijuana use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our marijuana addiction treatment program for young adults in Florida focuses on long-term recovery through various effective treatment options, blending evidence-based care for substance abuse with comprehensive healing, holistic therapeutic options, and a commitment to family and community healing.
Resilience Recovery Resources provides comprehensive, holistic care to young adult men overcoming drug abuse, blending substance abuse treatment for marijuana addiction with mental health treatment and strategies for navigating underlying trauma and stress. Each treatment plan is built to address the unique needs, goals, and experiences of young adult men aged 18 to 28, combining individual therapy with peer support to create a program focused on empowerment and change. We give young adults the guidance and opportunity to develop skills that shape daily life, prepare for a fulfilling career, and help them make the most of each day.
The use of marijuana can be ubiquitous. Between constant pushes for recreational legality and cultural tolerance of the drug, it can lead many to unhealthy ideas regarding marijuana and its impact on health. However, marijuana is still an addictive substance, and the use of marijuana still comes with several risks to physical and mental health. From addressing the chemical impact of tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabinoids on the brain to the cultures, social influences, and perceptions of marijuana in daily life, we help young adults build skills and a community that supports long-term healing, not just short-term solutions.
Each of our marijuana addiction treatment programs for young adults blends personalized care with a background of clinical excellence and family integration. Not only do we empower young adults, but we work with families and support systems to provide care at home through education, understanding, communication, and a commitment to change together.
Healing from addiction of any kind is challenging, and finding the treatment approaches that work best for you or your son is a personal journey. Embracing vulnerability, confronting stigma, and committing to change are all major steps. Having an environment that supports you on this journey is paramount. We curate a judgment-free, stigma-free space in West Palm Beach where young adults can come together while feeling safe and understood. With a modern treatment facility in Florida, complete with outdoor community spaces, a pool, and a sense of privacy, each person can focus on their own wellness and healing while integrating into a dedicated healing culture alongside peers.
For nearly a decade, Resilience Recovery has supported adolescent and young adult males through developmentally informed, family-centered care. Our transitional model emphasizes clinical excellence, accountability, and the life skills needed for sustainable recovery and independence.
Programming is thoughtfully designed around the developmental needs of young men ages 14–28. Separate tracks ensure care remains age-appropriate, clinically relevant, and aligned with each stage of growth.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based care grounded in relational and attachment-focused principles, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). Treatment prioritizes emotional healing while building practical skills for long-term stability.
Low client-to-staff ratios allow for individualized support, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and consistent clinical oversight. Each client is known, supported, and actively guided throughout their recovery process.
Care is trauma-informed and developmentally responsive, addressing the underlying experiences that often contribute to substance use. We support the whole person — emotionally, socially, academically, and vocationally.
Families remain closely involved through weekly therapy, regular updates, and dedicated care coordination. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and supports lasting change beyond the program.
FARR-accredited residences provide a safe, structured setting that reinforces accountability while promoting independence. Each home is intentionally designed to reflect real-world living, helping clients practice the skills necessary for a successful transition forward.
We offer an evidence-based approach to change, combining proven therapies and clinical excellence with holistic healing opportunities and practical life skills. Our team empowers young adults to address marijuana addiction, its effects on daily life, family, and personal wellness, and build new skills in a drug-free life. Understanding the benefits of our programs can empower young adults and their families to take their next step toward change with confidence.
Young men will have opportunities to work one-on-one with an experienced clinician, focusing on their unique needs, goals, experiences, and skills as they work toward their next milestone and personal goals. Our individual therapy combines holistic healing with evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and our NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which provides a proven foundation for effective behavioral health treatment.
We combine individual therapy with group therapy and dedicated peer support groups, where young men can come together to navigate real-world challenges and stresses, share successes and strategies, and further integrate themselves into our culture of healing. With group therapy options alongside 12-Step integration and support, nobody is ever alone in their journey.
We incorporate the family throughout the healing process. With weekly family therapy sessions that educate and empower parents, siblings, and loved ones to be active and involved in change, we support entire families to address the larger impact of marijuana addiction. This approach focuses on building coping skills and strategies at home, improving communication and understanding, enacting effective relapse-prevention skills, establishing healthy boundaries, and creating an environment focused on support and accountability rather than blame as families grow and heal together.
Our programs include medication management services, working closely with each person using medication throughout the healing process. From coordination with a healthcare provider to monitoring cravings and marijuana withdrawal symptoms while also addressing mental health needs and underlying stresses, we take a comprehensive and monitored approach to care.
Healing is a process. We go beyond the immediate challenges of addiction to explore new life skills and skills development that support your transition not just to a drug-free life, but also support career development and personal goals. From new skills in managing urges to practical daily strategies to manage time, energy, and balance ongoing healing with professional responsibilities and accountability, we are here to help young adult men reach new goals and milestones in every part of daily life.
Knowing what to expect can help young adult men approach marijuana addiction treatment with confidence and a commitment to their own future. We focus on empowerment, skills development, transitional support, and personal agency. Our team provides education and tools to help young adults take charge of their own future, even while overcoming difficult urges and cravings and navigating new stresses and hurdles throughout the process.
Our programs start with morning meditation and chores to help men build new life skills and accountability while developing a new daily structure. This is followed by clinical group and therapy from 1:30 to about 7:30, with supervised meal prep and time for self-care and recreation to manage energy while putting in the hard work to confront marijuana abuse and its effects. Our young adult program starts a little later in the day, so young adults can maintain employment and work morning hours before coming to treatment. Young men have the opportunity to address stresses of the workplace, how it impacts marijuana addiction recovery, and learn new coping skills.
Resilience Recovery Resources also offers dual diagnosis support for those overcoming co-occurring disorders, including marijuana and underlying mental health needs. These personalized programs address not just marijuana use and abuse, but underlying feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress that informed marijuana use as a coping strategy in the first place.
Our treatment programs for co-occurring disorders also explore the increased risk of mental health disorders brought by the effects of marijuana, and include care for addressing personal risk factors like the impact of environment and genetics on both marijuana use and mental health challenges.
From navigating stress to confronting complex challenges like psychosis or schizophrenia in relation to drug use, our comprehensive programs explore the intersection of personal needs and challenges to address them in tandem, all while incorporating support for emotional dysregulation as well as developmental and transitional challenges to empower young adults to take control of their wellness.

We are here to help you or your son find the right level of care, balance ongoing healing with personal needs and responsibilities, and reach new goals in personal or professional life. Our caring staff works with young adult men not only to find the right level of care, but also to provide regular monitoring and assessment to support each journey as they transition to new levels, embrace new freedoms and accountability, and adjust their program to match changing needs, goals, and skills.
Our most intensive level of care, our PHP, is for young adults aged 18 to 28. PHP includes 25 hours of group therapy per week and incorporates family integration, individual therapy, academics and life skills support, and medical oversight. Located in West Palm Beach, our PHP creates a culture that supports young adults while they build new skills, careers, and wellness in daily life.
A step down from our PHP, our IOP includes 9 to 15 hours of group therapy per week as young men take on more responsibilities and freedoms, while still staying connected to our supportive community. These programs continue to build a new life both inside and outside our walls, with weekly individual and family therapy sessions and life skills support. IOP is further personalized to address new stresses as they arise.
Our least intensive level of care, our outpatient program (OP), consists of about 6 hours a week of dedicated programming and is best for young adult men who have completed a higher level of care and are continuing to successfully integrate new skills, coping strategies, and build on a sober life at home. This program can be especially beneficial for those who are balancing ongoing healing and a drug-free life with new career opportunities and life changes to prevent professional stresses from impacting decision-making, sobriety, and emotional wellness.
While marijuana addiction can feel isolating, entire families are affected. Our focus on empowerment and community ensures that nobody has to face addiction alone, supporting long-term change that empowers everyone to build a thriving, marijuana-free life.
We work closely with local FARR-accredited sober living options right next to our clinical office in Florida, providing transition support and programs that support accountability, vocational and academic support, and 12-Step participation while navigating through our level system.
You are never alone in your healing journey, even after navigating new levels of freedom and treatment programs or reaching new milestones in healing. We continue to provide alumni support to further integrate your skills and new lifestyle into your larger healing journey, building on skills while benefiting from alumni integration, meetings, and support.
Your journey does not end at the conclusion of one of our programs. Rather, we are committed to long-term wellness, providing ongoing support and aftercare as you transition to a fulfilling drug-free life. With aftercare plans that start two weeks before discharge, access to alumni support gatherings and integration, guidance and connections to community resources, and structured home visits prior to return, we ensure that you always have the resources necessary to continue reaching new milestones in your journey.
We work with individuals and families to provide robust marijuana relapse prevention planning, including coping skills to address new stresses, mindfulness techniques to recognize changes in wellness or stress, and educating family members to provide the best support possible to empower a lasting drug-free life.
Nobody and no family wishes for addiction, and while many may be in denial about addiction and its effects, there are some signs that a loved one may need professional help and confront their relationship with marijuana use.
Signs that an intervention or professional program may be necessary include:
Addiction is a disease that affects entire families, and if you are concerned about a young adult in your family, calling today to learn more about the situation, your options, and the path forward can be crucial.
While we do not offer in-house medical detox or inpatient programs, we do work closely with trusted local options and provide referrals to these types of treatment to address withdrawal symptoms and promote stabilization. We are also available to provide logistical and transitional support as you navigate each level of care, transitioning from these programs to treatment with us to ensure there are no gaps in care.
Yes! We structure our days to allow young adults to continue working while engaging in marijuana rehab, exploring new skills and strategies each person can use to balance these aspects of their life.
We incorporate family therapy into each program to educate family members about addiction, help them become effective supports, and foster communication, trust, and forgiveness for entire families, facilitating change both inside our walls and at home for a consistent, effective, and unified approach.
