Resilience Recovery Resources offers outpatient care for teens 14–17 facing substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our teen rehab programs in Florida focus on substance use treatment via evidence-based methods, family involvement, and support groups to address substance misuse and mental health challenges in tandem for lasting care.
Resilience Recovery Resources offers teen rehab programs in Florida for young men navigating alcohol and drug addiction alongside stress, underlying mental health and co-occurring disorders, and trauma. Our commitment to clinical excellence, backed by a professional, holistic approach and personalized care throughout our adolescent programs, ensures that teens and families can confront the impact of addiction from all angles, going beyond surface-level symptoms to embrace new life skills and a community that supports lasting change.
We offer teenage-specific programs to help you and your son find the best fit for healing. Our programs are divided into two distinct paths: an adolescent program catered toward young men aged 14 to 17, and a young adult program for ages 18 to 28. Your teen always has access to a community of peers and a program focused on the developmental needs and skills most pertinent to their goals. These programs balance comprehensive addiction treatment with academic support, career preparation, and transition support as they move between levels of care and reach new milestones.
We work with both teens and their families, integrating family therapy to encourage change at home while empowering family members to become engaged, educated, and effective supports. With weekly family therapy sessions and quarterly family weekends, family therapy can help families come together to face addiction, set healthy boundaries with loved ones, improve communication, and process lingering feelings of resentment or blame that may impact the healing journey. These programs are also instrumental in challenging enabling behaviors and destigmatizing addiction at home for a unified and productive approach to life.
For nearly a decade, Resilience Recovery has supported adolescent and young adult males through developmentally informed, family-centered care. Our transitional model emphasizes clinical excellence, accountability, and the life skills needed for sustainable recovery and independence.
Programming is thoughtfully designed around the developmental needs of young men ages 14–28. Separate tracks ensure care remains age-appropriate, clinically relevant, and aligned with each stage of growth.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based care grounded in relational and attachment-focused principles, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). Treatment prioritizes emotional healing while building practical skills for long-term stability.
Low client-to-staff ratios allow for individualized support, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and consistent clinical oversight. Each client is known, supported, and actively guided throughout their recovery process.
Care is trauma-informed and developmentally responsive, addressing the underlying experiences that often contribute to substance use. We support the whole person — emotionally, socially, academically, and vocationally.
Families remain closely involved through weekly therapy, regular updates, and dedicated care coordination. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and supports lasting change beyond the program.
FARR-accredited residences provide a safe, structured setting that reinforces accountability while promoting independence. Each home is intentionally designed to reflect real-world living, helping clients practice the skills necessary for a successful transition forward.
Understanding the benefits of our teen addiction treatment program is crucial to taking this step with confidence. We work collaboratively with you and your son, addressing personal challenges while making the most of each person’s healing efforts. There is never a single path to change, and we combine multiple approaches, comprehensive behavioral healthcare, and age- and gender-specific care for holistic, transformative teen treatment.
Your teen will work one-on-one with an experienced clinician, focusing on their unique needs, goals, experiences, and skills to carve their own path forward. This includes evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and our NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which provide a proven foundation for effective behavioral health treatment.
We combine individual therapy with group therapy opportunities, helping teens come together and explore practical coping skills, build new relationships, and receive sympathetic, compassionate peer support from a committed community. Our dedication to peer support also includes 12-Step integration and experiential therapies to explore new experiences, perspectives, and ideas in a safe environment.
We incorporate the family through weekly family therapy sessions that empower parents to learn about and be involved in their son’s healing. This approach focuses on exploring coping skills and strategies at home for teens and parents, improving communication and understanding, enacting effective relapse-prevention skills, establishing healthy boundaries, and creating an environment focused on support, understanding, and accountability rather than blame as parents grow and heal alongside their son.
We treat substance use disorder (SUD) alongside co-occurring disorders to explore the impact of mental illness, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma, mood disorders, or depression on each teen’s relationship with addictive substances. Addressing these challenges in tandem is necessary for effective change. We help teens see the full picture and understand how these factors inform each other, supporting the most effective and empowering approach to a sustainable alcohol- and drug-free life.
Knowing what to expect can help parents and teens set goals and expectations while making the most of available resources. Our programs begin with morning meditation and chores, followed by scheduled group sessions throughout the morning and early afternoon. Time is also scheduled for ongoing academics – your son will work with a dedicated Florida special education teacher to maintain academic involvement and success while navigating recovery.
Teens are also supported through supervised meal prep, working together to create a healthy diet while building new skills and responsibilities in recovery, all before attending 12-Step meetings at our satellite location. Your teen should never have to choose between healing, academics, or professional ambitions. Our outpatient support, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) offer opportunities for teens to pursue personal goals in rehab while staying engaged in effective treatment.
While our teen programming is designed to address the developmental needs and challenges of teenagers, it is best for those who have completed a medical detox or inpatient rehab program and are continuing to build on new skills and strategies for a lasting sober life. If your teen needs medical detox or residential treatment services, we can provide referrals and coordinate with you and trusted local treatment facilities before transitioning to care with us.
Our West Palm Beach rehab programs address addiction to various substances commonly affecting teens, including:
Each program also addresses teen-specific developmental and transitional challenges, including personal identity, peer pressure, academic stress, college transitions, transitioning into the workforce, and complicated family dynamics.

We are here to guide you through the treatment process, working with teens and families so there are never gaps or surprises throughout the healing journey.
Each journey starts with an assessment, where we discuss your teen’s unique needs, experiences, goals, and challenges with addiction and underlying mental health needs. This is a non-judgmental space that helps our expert clinicians learn about your son.
Using this information, we put together a collection of strategies and a personalized therapy program, ensuring care is tailored to your son’s needs and helping the entire family make the most of these recovery efforts.
Regular monitoring ensures we can update strategies while keeping your teen safe, addressing personal needs, measuring progress, and reaching new milestones.
We are committed to long-term healing. Our team supports your son’s journey not just during treatment; we continue to work with teens as they transition to new stages, advance to new levels in our system, and embrace new freedoms outside the facility. Ongoing aftercare support and alumni programs keep teens engaged and connected to our healing community.
Resilience Recovery Resources uses a level system that empowers teens to build practical life skills and responsibility as they move through our levels of care. This ensures your teen always receives the care most pertinent to their needs in rehab. With regular assessments to advance levels and personalized care to develop specific skills, we can support your teen’s entire treatment and recovery journey.
Our most intensive level of care, PHP, is divided into two paths: one for adolescents aged 14 to 17, and one for young adults aged 18 to 28. These programs include 25 hours of group therapy per week and incorporate family involvement, individual therapy, academic and life skills support, and medical oversight. Our PHP is located in West Palm Beach, creating a culture that supports teens and blends effective rehab with opportunities to build new skills and thrive in academic and professional settings.
A step down from our PHP, our IOP includes 9 to 15 hours of group therapy per week as teens take on more responsibilities and freedoms while staying connected to our supportive community. These programs continue to help teens build a new life both inside and outside our walls, with weekly individual therapy and family therapy sessions, life skills support, and the ability to balance academics with ongoing healing.
Our least intensive level of care, our outpatient program (OP), consists of about 6 hours a week of dedicated programming and is best for teens who have completed a higher level of care and are continuing to successfully integrate new skills, coping strategies, and build on a sober life at home. This option is also great for teens who have an engaged and educated family support system at home that continues to support change.
Healing is an ongoing journey that continues in every aspect of daily life, including life outside our walls. We offer dedicated care to help teens build a sober life and maintain this transformed lifestyle for long-term recovery.
Our aftercare program includes transition support, connecting teens and families to local resources and home visits prior to return, empowering families to build a sober life together. Dedicated alumni integration and support is also always available, keeping teens connected to our healing culture and community in Florida while continuing to update skills, strategies, and navigate new hurdles and milestones.
New stresses can arise at any time, and our relapse prevention planning includes personalized coping skills and mindfulness strategies, along with practical grounding strategies and family education to support their teen son, identify triggers and stresses, and address developing needs to prevent teens from falling back into self-destructive routines.
Addressing addiction is just part of the healing journey. We combine effective care with life skills support, helping teens pursue academic goals and professional development through resume building, mock interviews, time management, decision-making, and exploring personal agency to take control of their sober life.
