Beautiful and Structured Living Environments
Located in Florida’s beautiful climate, our accommodations combine comfort and on-site amenities with a therapeutic culture focused on lasting change. FAQs
What information do you need to run a verification of benefits (VOB)?
To run a VOB, you will need access to your insurance card information, including the full name and date of birth of both the client and the policyholder, if different.
How long does it take to get VOB results?
Getting VOB results is typically a fast process, often within about 30 minutes, though timing can vary by insurance provider and plan. Please note that a full “live” verification — which gives a complete picture of financials — can only be done during banking/business hours. If you call outside those hours (for example, late on a Friday evening), we may need to wait until the next business day (typically Monday) to complete the live verification.
Will insurance cover the full cost of treatment or only part of it?
Addiction is classified as a disease under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is thus covered by most insurance policies, Medicare, and Medicaid. However, exactly how much is covered will depend on your unique insurance plan. Contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage and benefits, or working with a representative at Resilience Recovery Resources to navigate the world of insurance, can ensure that you are aware of your coverage or any financial responsibility when exploring addiction and mental health treatment services.
What out-of-pocket costs should I expect after insurance?
Out-of-pocket costs will depend on your unique needs and insurance coverage, as well as the level of care. Contacting your insurance provider or working with a representative at Resilience Recovery Resources can help you explore your coverage before committing to a program with us, so there are no surprises when it comes to any potential out-of-pocket costs.
Do you work with my specific insurance plan (PPO, HMO)?
We work with most PPO insurance plans, and can confirm your coverage eligibility during the verification process before starting any program.
Do I need a referral, prior authorization, or clinical documentation?
Some insurance plans require prior authorization or supporting clinical documentation. Our admissions and clinical team handles this process on your behalf.
What happens if insurance denies treatment or only authorizes a short stay?
In the event that insurance denies treatment, our team will submit an appeal for you, working to provide additional clinical documents as needed and advocating for the most appropriate level of care and length of stay for you or your loved one.
How often do you submit utilization reviews to maintain approval?
We typically submit utilization reviews to maintain approval every couple of days to ensure that there are no gaps in approval throughout treatment. However, we can adjust this depending on insurance requirements and work with your insurance even as you transition between levels of care in your journey.
How long does an outpatient program last?
The length of any given IOP will depend on your unique needs, goals, and progress in healing. On average, many men begin to experience noticeable changes within 60-90 days of beginning our IOP, and continue with ongoing support. However, we continue to support your change even after graduating from a PHP, IOP, or OP, with dedicated aftercare support and transitional support services to maintain your hard-earned sobriety in daily life.
What level of care is right for me?
The right level of care will depend on your needs, goals, and the severity of your addiction and mental health disorders. We work with you during your intake interview to determine the most appropriate level of care to match your needs, so you always receive the most effective care and appropriate healing opportunities.
