Care is trauma-informed and developmentally responsive, addressing the underlying experiences that often contribute to substance use. We support the whole person — emotionally, socially, academically, and vocationally.
Families remain closely involved through weekly therapy, regular updates, and dedicated care coordination. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and supports lasting change beyond the program.

At Resilience Recovery Resources, we take a whole-person approach to treatment and recovery, using evidence-based modalities and holistic therapies to help young adult men address wellness in all areas of their lives.
During individual therapy, young men participate in one-on-one sessions that focus on uncovering the root causes of their substance use disorder, such as mental health challenges, and developing personalized strategies for long-term success. Our therapists use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) to identify negative thoughts and behaviors and to practice reframing and coping with those thoughts in a trauma-informed manner.
Our group therapy sessions go beyond simple discussions. Clients are offered interactive activities that foster growth through peer support, life skills exercises, and the practical application of recovery tools. Our levels of care also incorporate 12-Step integration for practical application of coping mechanisms, including the creation of a recovery community.
Our team believes family is integral to the recovery process. Clinicians oversee therapy sessions as needed and provide weekly family updates. Through family integration, you will learn to build trust and foster a supportive home environment that includes setting healthy boundaries and relapse prevention planning.
Our programming helps clients identify goals related to school, employment, and future career opportunities. As part of each individualized treatment plan, our team can help clients develop practical routines, decision-making skills, and other life skills that support progress toward their academic or vocational goals.
Every client has a case manager assigned to their treatment case who assists with life skills such as resume building, mock interviewing, job searching, budgeting, legal issues, and off-site appointments, as well as transitions to and resources for aftercare.

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is right for individuals who need more support than standard weekly therapy provides, but do not require 24/7 residential or inpatient care. IOP is a great option when stepping down from medical detox or inpatient rehab. It is also a great option for those stepping down from a partial hospitalization program (PHP) who still need strong structure. IOP provides more than just weekly therapy while still allowing clients to attend to family routines or work.
No. Resilience Recovery Resources does not provide residential treatment. If a client needs residential treatment or inpatient care, our team coordinates referrals to appropriate providers. After completing a higher level of care, prospective clients may be evaluated for admission to PHP, IOP, and outpatient therapy at Resilience Recovery Resources.
If your son needs medical detoxification, our team will help coordinate a referral to an appropriate detox provider before considering admission to Resilience Recovery Resources. Following detox, he may be referred to residential, inpatient, or psychiatric care if clinically appropriate, or he may be evaluated for admission to our transitional PHP, IOP, or outpatient services. For clients who are appropriate for our program after detox or a higher level of care, PHP can provide structured support as part of a step-down plan.
