Why Families & Young Adults Trust Us

For nearly a decade, Resilience Recovery has supported adolescent and young adult males through developmentally informed, family-centered care. Our transitional model emphasizes clinical excellence, accountability, and the life skills needed for sustainable recovery and independence.

Age and Gender-Specific Care for Adolescent and Young Adult Males

Programming is thoughtfully designed around the developmental needs of young men ages 14–28. Separate tracks ensure care remains age-appropriate, clinically relevant, and aligned with each stage of growth.

Licensed Clinicians and Evidence-Based Treatment Methods

Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based care grounded in relational and attachment-focused principles, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). Treatment prioritizes emotional healing while building practical skills for long-term stability.

Beautiful and Structured Sober Living Environments

FARR-accredited residences provide a safe, structured setting that reinforces accountability while promoting independence. Each home is intentionally designed to reflect real-world living, helping clients practice the skills necessary for a successful transition forward.

Trauma-Informed, Holistic Care Approach

Care is trauma-informed and developmentally responsive, addressing the underlying experiences that often contribute to substance use. We support the whole person — emotionally, socially, academically, and vocationally.

Ongoing Family Therapy and Communication

Families remain closely involved through weekly therapy, regular updates, and dedicated care coordination. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and supports lasting change beyond the program.

Small Group Sizes for Personalized Attention

Low client-to-staff ratios allow for individualized support, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and consistent clinical oversight. Each client is known, supported, and actively guided throughout their recovery process.

Benefits of Our Drug Rehab Programs

Healing is a complex journey, filled with difficult challenges and changing needs. Our addiction treatment program near Palm Beach Gardens provides an array of opportunities for young men and their families to work together, make the most of the benefits and opportunities of our treatment program, and work toward new milestones.

Individual & Group Therapy

Young adult men will have opportunities to work one-on-one with an experienced clinician, focusing on their unique needs, goals, and experiences. This includes personalized skills development and evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, and our NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which provide a proven foundation for effective behavioral health treatment.

We combine individual therapy with group therapy opportunities, bringing young adult men together to share practical strategies, build new relationships, and provide peer support. Our group therapy model also includes 12-Step integration to explore new experiences, perspectives, and ideas in a safe environment while overcoming addiction or underlying needs.

Life Skills and Career Development

We go beyond the immediate challenges of addiction to include life skills development that supports the transition not just to a drug-free life, but also to career development. From new skills in managing urges to practical daily strategies for managing time and energy, balancing ongoing healing with professional responsibilities and accountability, and mock interviews and resume building, we help young adult men establish a healthy approach to both recovery and professionalism.

Trauma-Informed Care

We also address the role of underlying trauma throughout the healing process, confronting drug addiction and its effects while using trauma-informed care and support for overcoming post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or traumatic experiences that may have informed drug use as a coping strategy. Healing is a comprehensive journey, and we create a safe, supportive space to address each young man’s needs in tandem for truly transformative healing.

Family Support and Education

We involve committed family members throughout each program, with weekly family therapy sessions that empower parents, siblings, and loved ones to be educated and active members of the healing journey. Family integration helps build coping skills and strategies at home by improving communication and understanding, enacting effective relapse-prevention skills, establishing healthy boundaries, and creating an environment focused on support and accountability rather than blame.

Our Levels of Care

Finding the right level of care for young adults is crucial. We are here not only to help you receive the support you need for lasting change, but also to provide regular monitoring and assessment to support your journey as you transition to new levels, embrace new freedoms, and adjust your program to match your changing needs.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our PHP is our most intensive level of care, designed to address the unique needs of young adults. PHP includes about 25 hours of group therapy per week along with family involvement, individual therapy, academic and life skills support, and medical oversight. These comprehensive programs provide education and a stable, supportive environment to balance daily needs and responsibilities with a drug-free life, learning new skills in a safe place.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A step down from our PHP, our IOP includes 9 to 15 hours of group therapy per week as young adults take on more personal responsibilities and freedoms while staying connected to our supportive community. These programs help young men continue to build developmental skills both inside and outside our walls, with weekly individual therapy and family therapy sessions, life skills support, and comprehensive co-occurring care.

Outpatient Treatment

Our least intensive level of care, our outpatient program (OP), consists of about 6 hours a week of dedicated programming and is best for young adult men who have completed a higher level of care and are continuing to successfully integrate new skills, coping strategies, and build on a sober life at home. This program can be especially beneficial for those who are balancing ongoing healing and a drug-free life with new career opportunities and life responsibilities. Young men can work on preventing professional stresses from impacting decision-making, sobriety, and emotional wellness.

What to Expect in Our Rehab Programs

Knowing what to expect and how our programs support healing in teens and young adults can empower young men and their families to begin this journey with confidence.

Teens

Our teen program starts around 7:00 a.m. with morning meditation and chores, then transitions to partial hospitalization groups from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This time includes scheduled breaks, meal times, and support to manage energy, focus, and needs during these programs.

These programs include dedicated time for academics, working with a Florida-certified special education teacher, and virtual learning at our on-site satellite location. Teens also experience supervised dinner prep, combining healthy, holistic dieting plans with community and practical skills development to build personal agency and autonomy in their drug-free life.

Evenings focus on 12-Step integration, with off-site group meetings that help teens further their focus on peer support, culture, and camaraderie throughout the healing process.

Young Adults

Our young adult program follows a similar structure to our teen program. However, it starts later in the day, with clinical groups running from about 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., allowing young adults to work morning hours before coming to treatment. This approach also ensures young adults can address workplace stresses and challenges with a professional as they arise while developing skills necessary to maintain steady employment in their drug-free life.
