Case Management: each resident is assigned a Case Manager to actively facilitate our residents’ recovery goals on an individualized basis. Resilience practices an integrative approach, working side by side with each clinical component in our residents’ journeys; they are constantly in contact with their clinical teams (whether through IOP, personal therapist, psychiatrist, etc.). Case Managers communicate with families on a weekly basis.
24-Hour Onsite Management/Staff: our staff is onsite 24 hours a day to best support our residents. All staff positions are paid and awake overnight; staff is CPR, First AID & Narcan certified.
Medication Observation: residents are required to keep their medications locked in the medication closet located in the staff office. All residents are observed taking their prescribed medications and observation is logged daily.
Transportation: house vehicles and staff are provided to escort residents to and from all clinical services, doctors’ appointments, recovery-related commitments, 12-step meetings, and house activities.
Meals: we provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner with healthy food options. Food preparation is done by the residents in order to develop the vital sense of community and encourage individual life skills.
Educational, Vocational, and Volunteering Goals: our focus with Resilience residents is to develop a transition plan that leads to independent success. Whether it be finding a way to give back freely to the community, seeking a new passion in the work field, or expanding an individual’s educational goals, we have in-house support to achieve these goals and excellent community referrals for anything outside of our scope of practice.
Alternative Sentencing/Court Advocacy: we provide the highest level of support for our residents who have legal concerns when they arrive under our care. We offer written documentation of residents’ participation in our program. We also provide in-court advocacy to help all of our residents best represent their recovery efforts.
House Meetings/Groups: at Resilience Recovery Residences, we conduct Morning Reflections Groups; Nightly Review Groups; and our weekly House Accountability Group, where residents are able to address any setbacks and also receive positive support from their peers and staff to help them achieve individual and group success.
Scheduled and Randomized Drug Testing: to best hold all our clients accountable, we have scheduled and randomized urinalysis panel testing and alcohol detection devices.
Continued Care Program: consists of in-house groups by various group facilitators, focused on spirituality and mindfulness, relationships and experiential groups; plus individual and family therapy sessions with a licensed clinician. (This service is an additional fee separate from Cost of Care).
Gym Membership: a local gym membership is provided for our residents. We encourage physical wellness and all-around health. Although Resilience management is well versed in the health and fitness field, personal trainers and nutritionists are available by referral upon request.
Salt Water Therapy: swimming, surfing, stand-up paddle (SUP) boarding, and boogie boarding are all parts of our weekly beach trips. We have surf/SUP instructors that are First AID and CPR certified for residents with little to no experience in the ocean. We promote safety and insist on having a good time in the water.
Music Room/Recording Studio: an onsite music room and recording studio is available for residents to cultivate their creative passions. Music is known for having therapeutic benefits, helping to tap into emotions and express oneself through an alternative medium.
House Outings: while at Resilience Recovery, all residents who are eligible can participate in weekly house outings; and each month, we do a larger community event. Everything from professional baseball, basketball, and ice hockey games to bowling, movies, laser tag, paintball and go-karting. It is of utmost importance to enjoy being sober, so this is what we call “mandatory fun”!
Annual Resident & Alumni Trip: we bring together our residents and alumni on an annual trip in the great outdoors to partake in the sunshine and scenery of this beautiful state. This trip is about unity, fellowship, and fun! Bonds are formed that last a lifetime while at Resilience Recovery. This annual trip is open for all alumni and current residents to come together and soak in the essence of sobriety.
